Credit Enhancement The Concept Provision of a credit enhancement SBLC, issued in personal or corporate name of the applicant, as specified and agreed by contract. Basis on which the enhancement instrument is provided: The SBLC is made available as credit enhancement instrument only. You can assign the rights in the SBLC, however, you are not permitted to sell or discount the guarantee. If you wish to do so, arrangements can be made with the bank in line with banking rules during any time of the validity of the guarantee, in line with an indemnity which builds the basis of this transaction. Total Amount And Availability: Minimum / maximum: Transactions from US$ 5,000,000 to US$ 500,000,000 are acceptable immediately, subject to acceptability of the applicant, availability of funds, on a first come first serve basis. Fees: Credit enhancement SBLCs are available from 7% of face value for 365 days. (Renewable) Payment of fees: No deferred payments are possible, no deductions from any profits you expect in the future. OPEC Capital's Credit Enhancement Division is not willing to enter any joint venture arrangements or change any of these conditions. You will have to place the fees that will be due within an escrow account of escrow agents, controlled by a major international law firm acting as trustee and stake-holder for both parties. The release of funds will be after we have provided our service only. However, you will have to place funds on deposit with the escrow agents prior to the provision of our service. Escrow agents are insured for this type of transaction. Security / confidentiality: Very strict security precautions are taken at all times. Any inquiries with the issuing bank must come from an authorized banking entity. There are no restrictions on inter-bank communications. Emission of enhancement instrument: Upon receiving confirmation from the escrow agent stating that you have placed the fee on escrow and funds are secured for the transaction, the SBLC is issued usually within 7 working days. Verification: Copies of the enhancement instrument are delivered by the issuing bank to the escrow agents. Upon successful verification through a major international law firm, the fees will be released. Unless the verification fails, the arrangement fee becomes non-refundable. The issuing bank: The SBLC is issued by major international world banks and advised to the receiving bank via SWIFT. The issuing bank will be named in the RWA confirmation and the draft contracts. Bank Guarantees Standby Letters of Credit OPEC Capital's Financial Instruments Division can arrange Standby Letters of Credit (SLC) and Bank Guarantee (BG) / MTN on lease from one month to 10 year from world's Prime Banks. Minimum amount acceptable US$5M up to NO LIMIT. (Collateral will be provided by facilitator) We arrange Commercial Letter of Credit (DLC) up to 360 days at 3% as per your terms and conditions to raise fund from your bank with our inspection certificate in the LC.
